Hi,
I have a 2008 XKR. I am finding the humming noise from what I understand to be the aspirator fan (see picture) to be quite irritating. I understand this is a small fan that supplies air to the automatic climate control. Any suggestions for a fix?

The aspirator is a dust magnet. Remove the trim and you are likely to find something like this:





The aspirator on my 2006 X150 was sticking and squeaking. Attention with a soft brush and a vacuum cleaner left it spinning freely and quietly:




Mine was RHD so looks the reverse of yours.
