Default Battery Tender

Eventhough I have nothad any problems starting the XKR, sometimesit would sit in the garage for 7-10 days without cranking it plus I need to get 2 battery tenders once winter comes along. Is there any battery tender you recommend. Do notwant to spend more than $100 each if I dont have too. Thanks!

I'm using the CTEK Multi 3300 Battery Charger, I think it was $69.99 or $79.99.

works like a charm...........

Thanks Mike.Mercedes guys also recommended Ctek for my SL65. Funny thing is Mercedes chose Ctek as one of their suppliers.Started up the XKR today after sitting in the garage for 2 weeks. Startedright up.....therefore I might wait until Winter storage before getting two. Here is MB charger which looks similar to Cteks (most likely made by Ctek).

yep.... that's what it looks like... minus the MB logo; which probably adds $50 to the cost. [sm=smiley21.gif]

I attached the 'pig tails' to my battery and just run the cable out the trunk. You may be able to plug into the cig. ligher on the SL65... that's what I did with my Porsche's...............

i feel bad for you guys not being able to drive your cars for long periods of time, esp since winter is approaching [:'(] im surprised no one else just puts a switch in the car like bmw does for the 7 series for this purpose.
