Hi - I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who recently purchased a 2008 XKR 4.2 litre.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a CTEK battery maintainer? I know that there are other brands available, but CTEK is most readily available in my area.

I have a 2014 FType, and was able to locate a wiring diagram for permanently installing my CTEK, such that the two-pin CTEK connector was accessible in the trunk. Is there an equivalent for the XKR? I'd like to wire in permanently - ideally without alligator clips.

Yes there is indeed and many threads on the subject. The MXS 5.0 runs around $100 USD and there’s CTEK accessories to make a permanent interior boot jack for quick connect such as the comfort indicator panel.

to CTEK MXS 5.0. Avoid Jaguar branded versions of the CTEK as the price hike for having the JLR logo on an otherwise standard product is outrageous.
