I went with the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 tires on my fronts. Drove home 130 miles and they were very quiet, gripped well. I am sure they will be good for some Washington state driving where I may run into rain, sun, heat, cold, etc.

I use to run Michelin or Pirelli religiously....however I found to be true I'm not racing muchless speeding over assigned speed limit! so I purchase Hankook EVO's EV12 and I'm satisfied and my wallet feels pretty good!

I'm still loving the description of Black and Round, LOL.
Running the Conti's now... and they work.. but with nowhere near the directional stability of the SS's. Of course the trade off that the Conti's actually work when the temperature dips below freezing and the SS's make great ice skates... ahhh, and so the trials and tribulations of owning a thoroughbred ;-)

Nice day here in the high 70's so took the bride out for a drive. Went down the parkway and cruised at 60 mph. She commented that the car seemed to ride much smoother then last time she was in it. She asked if the new front tires is making that much difference from the old (Dunlops) ones. Still I only have a small amount of seat time with the new Conti's on the front to compliment the ones on the rear I got last year but so far it looks like it will meet our needs. DWS on the rear and DWS 06 on the front. Time and mileage will tell.

Check out Tirerack, Hancook tires are rated very low compared to other summer tires.
Good luck,
I dont think they come in 285 for 20 inch rims

I will probably opt for the DWS 06's when the time comes... not heading to a track anytime soon and I need good tires in the wet going 70mph for long distance.
