Default best way to lower a xkr?

I want to lower my xkr but not to low just to make it look good. I Also want it to ride and handle good. What's the best method? Bags, adj. Coilovers, or lowering springs?

You need to search the forums as this subject have been discussed a lot. The springs are the least expensive options, generally dropping the car about 1.5". The coil overs are much more expensive but, they are also a much better option since you can adjust your ride height.

Also, a problem that may pop up with lowering is that the rear wheel cambers are non-adjustable on late Jaguars which means that you could pick up too much negative camber and wear-out the tires on the inside.

If you have a 2010+ XKR I have some XKR-S lowering springs for sale. They lower the 2010+ models by 10mm and have stiffer spring rates.

If you have a pre-2010 model I also have some H&R springs that will lower it 35mm.

I had started with the R-S springs but they didn't properly fit my 2008 model so I got the H&R springs. Now I'm selling the Jag so everything is going back to stock.

With the h&r springs how did you find the rear tire wear ? how many miles did you have them on ? Bernie

Tire wear was fine, if anything my Michelins seem to have worn in the middle more than anywhere else which I blame to dialing in the perfect tire pressure.

I got about 2000 miles on them and they really fill out the tire well perfectly however I did park curbside a lot more often when I went to places with odd drive entrances, like a dip then an incline type driveways.

You are in the wrong thread. There is another thread dedicated to XK8s and their supercharged brothers. Try there you will get better answers.

Austin, I'm in both threads, have both cars - we have a pretty good list of discussions there on lowering - and I just saw a 1.5 lowering kit on ebay for 300 bucks.
