Have you tried a very fine cut and polish? That's what I'd do first. At a pinch you can wrap it - the 3M gloss black wrap is pretty much identical to the piano black. I wrapped my centre console to get rid of the walnut burl, and it matches the shifter surround perfectly. There are plenty of threads here about how to take the pieces out.

I tried to polish it but maybe i did not do much

Your talking about de di-noc 3M? When you put yours you pit back the panels without problems on the borders ?

Do you have the link for the thread to take out the panels ?

If you can remove the cover, I would suggest that you highly condier having it hydrographic water transfer and have it coated. You won't have that problem any longer. They are many designs you can choose. Just google it.

You could pop off the panels, bring it to a body shop and paint it whatever color you want. Heck, put gold leaf and clear coat...

There are some links about removing the panels. I'm not somewhere where I can do the search for you, but keep searching. I know my iPhone in the ashtray DIY thread has instructions on removing the center panel. They are all held on by friction clips, I believe.

Tip: to search the forum I have better luck using Google. Type your search terms and add "jaguarforums.com" in the search field also. Google does a great job.

I dont dislike it at all, but prefer the burr walnut. I have a similar wheel and am fine with the colour.
