I have 2007 xkr convertible and need luggage separator parts. Where to get? I am in canada. Also one of my plastic clips broke and if I place it in will my roof still operate? Please get back to me.thanks.

 

Parts? Maybe be a bit more specific. Do you mean the ‘window shade’ cover itself? Don’t know if a dealer would still have those. Probably try some auto parts breakers (junk yards), several are online. Also keep an eye on eBay, it could pop up.
As far as getting to top to function, you just need a piece of metal, like a nut or washer, placed in the left hand track for the ‘window shade’, at the point where the ‘rod’ sits when the shade is extended to hold the shade extended. There’s a sensor behind the track at that point, looking for a metal clip that sits in the end of the rod.

 

Thank you. When you say left hand track...do you mean left side when facing the trunk? My right side plastic clip on rod broke off. Maybe I can remove rod and repair? Can I just tape clip in spot and top will work?

Yes, the top should function with either the original clip in place, or some other piece of metal (that can be attracted to a magnet, I don’t know if aluminum or stainless steel would work).
