Hey guys, Im totally new to this forum. Ive owned a s type R in the past.

Im looking to buy a 2007 XKR convertible with 55,000km. Anything major I should look out for when I have this checked out? I know every car has their kinks, but Im curious how reliable the XKR is.

 

Hi, this forum doesn't cover the 2007 model, only up to 2006. You may get better response in the correct forum. With that said, I have no personal experience with the generation you are asking about, however, I was at my local Jaguar dealership for some service one day and was just casually looking at a used 2007 XKR on the showroom floor when the service writer came to get me and she said, "that is a 2007, and there were a lot of problems that first year, I wouldn't recommend the 2007, start with 2008". Again, I know nothing about it other than what she said. I do wonder though if she is comparing the 07 with later years, or the previous generation.
