A week later and we're still waiting?

Did it go horribly wrong or does time work differently in Florida

Hi Marky,

The Powder coater is taking a long time to
finish the wheels. I also have the dash pulled out to be recovered. My poor car looks like it’s been in a chop shop lol!

I’ll have pics for you this week 👍🏻.

This autoflex product has a very glossy finish. It took longer than expected to complete.. but I hope it looks great once all of the masking is taken off.

I’ll take some more pics tomorrow.

It's dificult to see but how did you mask off between the chrome and rubber sealing? There is no gap on out cars between the rubber and chrome so no natural "divider" for the Plasti dip. Did you pull the masking tape wet or carefully cut with a knife?

You bring up a great point.. I had mixed results with taping off just the chrome. I had a few areas where It pulled off the new wrap because of the rubber trim being so close to the chrome. I am going to try the sides again (the rest of the car turned out really good). I think I will spray the top edge of the rubber this time. The spray wrap is flexible and should look better if the small rubber seal is sprayed. I had tearing in a few spots where the rubber met the chrome. More pics to come.. (I am very frustrated with the delays on my powder coated wheels and suede dash. I am told I will have all of these parts back this Wednesday.

I prefer to wait with bated breath. Except when eating sushimi.
