Default Blower Motor

Hi I have searched and found a thread on getting a new Blower motor. It’s dated 2014 so thing may have changed
it was also a bit confusing

In the UK a Jag one is nearly £200
Rock autos is £62 with shipping and Tax so quite a difference.

the one in the link below states its the correct one but also lists as being correct for many other cars .

For obvious reasons I don’t want to order the wrong and delivered to the UK

any suggestions if it is the correct part

Check the illustration carefully. I ordered one of these replacements a while ago, said it fit my '10 - nope. Fan was too big and power connector was different.

power connector is an important match. I bought a used one on eBay. If mine hadn't gotten wet it would have ran for years. couldn't stand the squeaking after an a/c leak. Anyway, I recommend used on eBay or at the very least, when looking at one somewhere else, compare the mounts and connector to yours AND the one you want to buy.

I received a blower motor from a 3 year old F type.
i checked several Jag sites and they listed the blower motor as the same part number for a XK and F Type so I ordered it.
when it arrived It was evident the power connect was incorrect.
I thought I might be able obtain a new style plug and adapt the harness.
I contacted the Jag main dealer and ordered a harness for a F type. PN T2R27883.
it turned out it was a perfect solution as it was an adapter from old to new.
so nothing to do but plug it in

outrageous price of £1
