I have a 2012 xkr with these calipers and 380mm rotors I'm planning to do a brake job soon and would like to know how to remove the front clip I've seen pictures with them off but not sure if there is a special trick as these don't bolt on like the rears. My concern is that whoever has removed them in the past was scratching the paint pretty good to remove them it seems

 

The clips on my '07 look a little different but I used two screwdrivers to pop them off and back on.
