front bumper swap out
Hi,
i am just doing a XKRS upgrade body onto my 2008XK convertible, the lastest front end with the LED lights are different, but i had to change the wings, and buy the latest headlights, so now is looks exactly like a 2012, inc side skirts rear bumper and rear lights.
the bumper fitting onto the chassis extension is exactly the same, it is where it joins the wings that it differs.

just for info, the reason i did the upgrade was it had a minor bump on nearside wing.
i found all the parts at jag land, all brand new and it was cheaper than buying the 2008 bits from Jaguar. it is now identical to 2012 model with the LED front and rear lights, new 2012 wings and side skirts.

hey Eddie......any progress on pics?
I'm thinking of doing this to my 2009 xkr.....so you need to update the: wings, front bumper and the new lights?
How much do these bits cost?
You can use the old bonnet?
how about the wiring on the headlights.....I've already had my rear lights converted which was a nightmare getting the numerous resistors right to stop the warning lights coming on the dash......is it a similar deal with the fronts?
thanks in advance for any advice and fair play for doing this......hope you're happy with the results........I'm sure you are....the newer front lights are a huge improvement in my opinion and obviously yours!
