People report that only when it's locked do all the computers shut off. They can drain a battery very fast if they all stay powered.
So keep it locked and you should be okay. At least they say that about the xjl I would think yours would be similar.

Welcome to the forum angeltarazon,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X150 forum. This is the place to post technical questions. Am I correct in assuming yours is a question and not a statement?

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Yes, locking the car manually reduces the time for shutdown, but keeping it on a battery maintainer helps overcome drain loss as well.

You'll find that weak or low battery can cause gremlins to appear that linger or go away when voltage is restored. There are many threads on the forum discussing various effects but, generally, they are all due to weak battery voltage.

I practice locking mine when it is garaged (as well when left in public, of course) and have it on a maintainer when not planning on driving for it more than a few days.

You didn't indicate if you have a vert or not but operating the top with the engine off causes a large battery drain.

As Graham said, this assumes you posted a question vs a statement. If it is the latter, then this is just wasted typing.

Welcome to our addiction.
Yep you must lock your doors.
In fact you should double lock to shut all electronics down.
Press the button twice!
We need pictures

Oft times I think the cell phone generation are their worst enemies. Makes account, posts one comment, not even a question, about a common issue. Offers no supporting evidence of what's happening or the history of the issue and then lurks waiting for replies that will range all over the spectrum of relevance...

Note to OP, a better description of your problem will net a better, quicker resolution. Welcome to the forum. You only get out of it what you put into it.
