Default Car Security Alarm

Experienced a very intermittent situation where my car security alarm went off early in the morning with the car in our locked garage. This happened before about a year ago. I could not find anything amiss. Everything was locked and the fob was on the kitchen counter.

Other than trying to break in to one of the doors or pushing the alarm on the fob, is there anything else that might trigger the alarm?

When wierd things seem to happen on these cars, I always look to the battery voltage. Various threads discuss battery related issues and how to approach testing before committing to replacement. In a nutshell your battery shouldn't read less than 12.6V (engine off at the terminals).

Other than questioning battery condition I have never experienced any issues with the alarm.
