Center armrest compartment

Default Center armrest compartment

I am trying to remove inner compartment box. I find no screws or fasteners. Can I get some help.

Bruce,

If you're trying to remove the cupholders, they're a friction fit with no fasteners. Simply pull straight up and they'll come out. You can then use that space for additional storage.

I'm not sure about the rear compartment. It might be part of the console assembly and not separately removable. If that's what you want to remove, why?

Default Center glovebox

Cup holder is easy. I am trying to get the liner completely out. I need access to the wiring under that center compartment.

I ‘think’ you need to take out the whole console.
It’s been a few years since I had mine out to do some installation work, and I don’t recall the compartment being removable (at least from the topside), as I needed to cut a hole in it to route a wire out of it, so I think I had to cut it after turning the console sideways.
