Default check engine light

I bought a 2009 xk8 and a year in I get a warning light telling me my fuel circuit is stuck open and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this matter. im very new to this forum and hope im posting this in the correct location. I have all necessary tools to perform any top to bottom work just need some guidance

If you have a 2009 model year XK you are a bit out of place. Perhaps you could confirm the MY of your car and/or a moderator might move it to a more appropriate forum.

Test Point ... if he has a 2009 XK (which is what I have) why is he "a bit out of place"?

It was originally posted in the 1996-2006 Xk8/R section...the mods moved it.
