Default Convertible Cylinder Microswitches

Can the wires to these switches be removed? I am sending the cylinders to Top Hydraulics for rebuilding and wonder if I should remove the wires first.
Thanks for any help.

OK, you're in the wrong part of the forum, unfortunately - the folks on here own the new-shape XK (X150), not the XK8 (X100). Hopefully the mods can move it over to the XK8 forum, where you're more likely to get the info you need.

I used to have an XK8, but it wasn't a convertible, so I don't have any experience with the hydraulics, I'm afraid.

Thanks. I'll try to re-post the question in the correct area. I'm still learning the Forum.

No worries - it's only a problem for you, because you will get fewer responses in this area. There's some really good information and very knowledgeable people (including some experienced technicians) around in the forum. Good luck!
