I just installed that same one. The buttons are a little confusing, but it's relatively subtle on the dash. I used the reflective film because I can't stand the double reflection from the glass.

Agree about the buttons...
How about a picture with the reflective film ? Does it interfere the view?

Or like this!:-)

The reflector is just a thin alloy sheet that I bent and painted with a grey metallic spraycan I had lying around. If you think it's to dim you can allways put a piece of reflective film on there and it will look brighter and sharper.:-)

I held the camera right next to my eye to take this pic. I'm 6'3" and 14 stone, so I probably sit a little higher than most people. The film doesn't bother me at all. I bought that HUD and positioned it there after seeing your pic. I'd like to move it forward a little, but if I do then I can't use my fancy Jaguar sun shade.

I just realized that in that one pic you can see my HUD, my dash cam (with GPS and rear view cam), and my rear view mirror backup camera.

Does the A100 HUD also read in F?

I am seeing in the listings that it is not compatible with Jaguar, but I see it is working with Rev Sam and Danny J.

Do you guys recommend it?

It works fine for me showing the temp which I believe is essential info in that car
I liked this one as it is very compact keeping the beautiful jag dash lines free as they should be

This is the exact one I bought. It can be set for metric or "normal" It has some quirks, but for $20, it can't be beat. The controls are downright silly. I'm to the point now where I can switch between speed, temp, and voltage with no problem, but I have to pull out the little instruction sheet to do anything else.

But like I said, for $20 it can't be beat.

That won't work for us in NY . The inspection sticker as well as the registration sticker are located there.

LOL! Ever since I blew my water pump at full throttle I've been leery of stomping on the gas pedal.

I still do it occasionally, just not as often.

In that case, it's the perfect place to put the reflective sticker. Your view is blocked there anyway. Put some reflective tape over the other stickers and use it to see the HUD. The cops are only going to be looking at the inspection/registration stickers from outside the car.

I found my solution as acceptable so I don't need to go with yours . Also the inspection sticker gets removed and replaced every year. You knw the tax man gets us here.

Tried to install mine yesterday. Initially it seemed to display the temperature but while paging through the setup screens, it no longer seems to display the temperature, rather it displays "03". Perhaps some type of error code. MPH and voltage seem to work just fine, but my main interest was temperature. I unplugged from the OBD port and plugged back in, I unplugged from the back of the unit and plugged back in. I shut down the car and started back up. Nothing worked.

I sent them a note just now. Didn't know if anyone else may have had this problem.

Once you go over 200 it drops the first digit. 03 means 203.

Mine runs 210 degrees on 90 degree hot days. Going to try 30% coolant to 70% distilled water...
