One of many thread on the F-Type forum but irrelevant really and I absolutely agree with your comment regarding a competent mechanic. I had some basic body work done last fall and after I brought the car home, I found the wheel well misaligned, the wrong clips used in the wrong place and the window well tore screws were used in the engine bay and the engine bay body mount crews were in the wheel well and one fog light was only partially installed.
I don't do body work but for God sakes, this was just so basic....
