Disabling Auto High Beam

Disabling Auto High Beam
The 2012 XK Manual states on page 60, "The Auto high beam feature can be disabled/ebabled via the Vehicle set-up area of the touch screen."
I want to auto low beams to work, but disable the Auto high beam feature so I get automatic on-off of the low beams but not worry about high-beams kicking on when they feel like it. However, I've searched all through the touch screen (system settings, vehicle settings, even navigation and other counter-intuitive locations), and I cannot find a place to make such an adjustment.
Can anyone walk me through to find it (if it exists and isn't another 2012 Owner's Manual discrepancy)?
P.S. I'm aware that I can temporarily cancel Auto high beam by pulling the light switch stalk toward me when Auto high beams are on. Instead, I want to permanently disable Auto high beam via the touch screen, as the manual indicates. I would rather not have to redo the stalk maneuver each time I start the car.

I may be misinterpreting your question, or the function itself, if so, please forgive.
Other brands have had what I think is a similar feature...
Ford had used a forward light sensor to identify oncoming night traffic. At that point if you were on high beams, it would automatically drop them to low for the safety of the oncoming traffic....
Any chance this is the same for your 2012?

CleverName - Close, but in this case the feature turns the highbeams on. Per the 2012 XK Owners Manual, in the Lighting section, it states:
AUTO HIGH BEAM
AUTO HIGH BEAM
This feature automatically selects and deselects high beam, under specific conditions of road lighting and in the absence of other vehicle’s lights. The system is only active when the ambient light drops below a predetermined level. This function is only active if the rotary control is in the AUTO position and the stalk is in the central position. To turn off auto high beam, turn the rotary control from AUTO to headlamps on. The Auto high beam feature can be disabled/ enabled via the Vehicle set-up area of the touch screen.
I want my low beam Auto lights to work (i.e. turn on automatically in low light), so I have to have the rotary control set to AUTO - - but I do not want the Auto high beams to come on automatically. I should be able to disable the latter without disabling the former, according to the manual.
BlackX300VDP: If you can list the touch screen path, you will get a gold star. The Manual itself states the Auto high beam feature can be disabled via the touch screen. The issue, however, is that nobody can find it. So we think, once again, parts of the 2012 XK Manual were written by liars.

Colour me baffled, but what have got against the high beams coming on. Just curious.
I dislike "auto on" lights. I have seen them activate on other high end cars just because a bridge over the freeway is a bit large. My wrists work just fine so I will activate mine with the "Armstrong Method".

Can anyone else confirm that the function gunman describes actually exists?
I'm just curious, as I have never heard of a car that automatically activated high beams till now. Disabled with oncoming traffic yes, and then re-enabled once passed yes, but never going to High all on its own.
The wording from the manual that Gunman posted could still be read to indicate an automatic toggle to "low beam", (or Auto high-beam disable) in the presence of oncoming traffic as I stated before. It's all in how you read it.
In fact the Jaguar website describes the function exactly as I mentioned, except it is referenced on the XF(scroll down to the Bi-function HID xenon headlamps paragraph).
I think the manual just has confusing wording...
