I have the NT530, about $150 on their website, includes one manufacturer software. I have also used it on my Genesis and daughter's Audis (A4 and Q5) with appropriate software.

Also, how old is your iCarSoft hardware? Talking with indyx358, the i930 Pro won't get the job done. The 3.0 will.

As Vroom stated, my i930 Pro won’t engage the seats to move or reset so that I can then customize the 3 positions for my driving styles. Currently looking to get the 3.0

I bought this in 2022 and all it would do was make my drivers seat move a little , nothing to the passenger which was my issue. Like I said then I heard about the foxwell and it recalibrated my passenger seat back to normal. Maybe it was just my car who knows, just sharing for what its worth.

I, too, have the i930. That won’t do the recalibration. So I bought an Autel MaxiAP AP200, then downloaded the Jaguar software to my Android phone. (first vehicle-specific download is free, any after that you have to pay for) At first, it didn’t work, and I was a little baffled and disappointed. Long story short, the software tells you to turn the ignition on and the device will control it from there. That doesn’t work and gives an error message. So I tried starting the car, and ran the calibration with the engine running. That works!!! Phew. Glad I didn’t waste my money. Seats are working again.

@fritzthecat
Can you walk me through how you did the seat reset on the AP200? I just got mine and haven't figured it out yet.

unfortunately I'm traveling and don't have the ap200 interface with me. I can give you some approximates, though, strictly from memory of a few years ago. You want to get to the service list, and if I remember correctly there is a diagnostic selection, a service selection, and a demo selection. Plug the interface into the obd2. Take the service selection. There will be a bunch of them. Go to seat adjustment (?). Key issue here is that you've got to tell the seat reset routine what kind of seat you have. If my memory serves me well there's seats from 10 adjustment points to 16 adjustment points or something like that. If you pick the wrong seat type the routine will cancel or fail. If you pick the right seat type it will go through the reset routine. Sorry I can't do better but I'm working entirely from memory of something I did a couple of years ago. Maybe there's someone else on here we have some more recent experience with the ap200.

Glad to hear it! Who woulda thought the computer could screw up your seats? But, these Jags are complex cats. I like the AP200. I have Torque, and the iCarSoft, but the Autel one has more Jag-specific functions.
