My seat back will lower but won't raise. Has anybody had this happen. My battery is new and fully charged. I wonder if this is something I could repair? Any help greatly appreciated.

 

Try something simple first. Remove the fusebox cover in the driver footwell, and pull fuse F18 (tan , 5 Amps), then plug it back in. This should reset the driver seat control module.

 

that would have been an easy fix but unfortunately it still won't raise. All the other functions work.

 

Then it is probably either the switch module or the seat module or a position sensor. The switch module and seat module are linked by a data bus, so it is not that easy to diagnose yourself.

Factory diagnostic equipment is the way to go at this point to avoid throwing parts at the problem unless you have really good electronic skills.
