Default Driver side mirror, folding issue

I tried several combos of searches and never really found what I was looking for. Some backstory. Sunday afternoon, washed/waxed the Jag and put her into the garage (double locked the Jag). Fast forward to Tuesday, take it to work, no issues. Leave for lunch and I notice that the driver's side mirror never opened up. I pushed it open (I know) and continued on my way. Got to my destination and opened and closed them several times. The Driver side is slow and jerky, passenger side is normal. Jump on the forum to look, saw that maybe I need to reset them, and to check battery level. Head back outside. Unlock vehicle, and driver side doesn't open again. Start car, and push both mirror buttons several times, The Driver side is slow and jerky, passenger side is normal. Battery level is reading 13.6v.

So, now I am thinking either the motor is going out, or I stripped the gears. Start looking at the parts and see that C2C37100 is a motor but from the pics, I cannot tell if it just controls the mirror movement or if it also controls the folding.

Any thoughts oh wise forum gods?

Take it apart and look. It may be all gooked up and needs a cleaning and regreasing.

So I need to stop treating this car with kid gloves.... I am hesitant to touch it. I am assuming it is rather straightforward to disassemble....

The F250, I was standing on the motor the other day as I was pulling out the turbos.

Yeah, it's just a ten year old used car now. No longer the $120,000 machine it was a decade ago.

Current situation, it has started automatically working again, although slower. I am going to disassemble it and see if its GUNKY or if it is stripped.

If it is stripped, I have a project for my mechanical engineering student interns....

Now, to figure out how to take it apart....
