Good evening folks,

I am installing a power source in the front compartment for occasional use of a CarPlay unit. I am putting a piggy back fuse in the fusebox in the passenger compartment. Does anyone know if there is a convenient earth point near the fusebox? I will be running the wire back from the fusebox and round the front of the windscreen.

If you’re talking about the fuse box in the front footwell, I used an existing stud with a nut on it. I had the trim around the fuse box removed at the time (to run wiring) so probably not accessible without removing the trim. The nut was toward the door, not toward the firewall. It was easy access at the time, but I’m sure there must be more than one ground spot around the fuse box.
