Default Easiest place in the back to get a signal for a subwoofer?

I changed the tweeters and it helped, but i want put in a subwoofer. Easy to get breaking power from the back, but it seems I have tear apart half the car to find at least a loudspeaker signal. That will do very well. i took away the rear seat, lots of cables there...impossible to say which on carries the audio signal. Any suggestions? I do not want to take the signal from the front side of the car.

You could tap into the rear speaker(s) with high to low level converter(s). I talked to a radioshop about it and they said it would not be a problem to take the signal from them, they don't add load on the built in amp.

I added 2 Kenwood KSC-SW11 (on behind the driver's seat and another behind the passenger seat), spliced off of the rear speakers - sounds so much better. I also changed out the front speakers to Focals and they sound so much clearer and crisp, as well as the sub in the footwell (fills out the sound a little more). Changing the rear speakers made no difference at all and I went back to stock.

Where did you find the signal from? It seems I have to take quite much stuff away just to see the rear speakers!

I used the rear speakers. Yes, you have to remove quite a few pieces, and IIRC, the trim at the tread plate (snaps up and I believe its also a 25 torx screw), then the panel that the rear speaker sits in. A bit of a pain, but not terrible, and the results of getting the signal for the subs is well worth it. As for power to the subs, there is a switch power source in the trunk (there are a few threads on it, and at the moment I don't recall which treads particularly).

Switch power is behind a plastic "door" near back lights on the left side. Ugh. Perhaps I will take the cd-player/radio/Nav-thing away, it may be easier...I saw the instructions for it.
