Ebc brakes and sensor. HELP!! Please
What sensor is available AND FITS 2015 xkr for the EBC Red stuff ceramic pads? The front sensor from dynamic friction worked but haven’t found a rear sensor that fits correctly…
anyone have a name or part number?
please anyone who can help?

no. I ordered EBC red stuff pads. Not brembo. Front worked. Rear I ordered the dynamic friction sensor that was recommended, but it is not sitting in the slot that it’s supposed to go into.
Are you looking for the electrical indicator, or just the chirp-clip?
There seems to be two sensor cables:
from VINB44940 C2P24219
before VINB44940 C2D2976
IIRC the older sensors fit inside the anti-rattle spring. It is possible that the last cars all had the XKS-S pads with a different spring arrangement using a sensor similar to that on the front that pushes into the slot at the top.
The pads are otherwise the same size and it depends what the aftermarket suppliers decide to do with the springs as to which sensor will be suitable.
What is the EBC pad number?

I couldn't finde a picture of the pad
If the EBC pads didn't come with a spring for the edge slot, one would expect that the later sensor should fit.
With the spring, the earlier sensor is used.
As that pads should be otherwise the same, one might expect that the sensors are intercgangeable, as long as you have the little springs for the older sensor.
It could also be that EBC's measurements aren't very accurate. I have had stuff from them before that haven't fitted out of the box and as the performance of the Redstuff wasn't anything special, after a second set, I didn't go back.

Back in the days when these cars were current, Jaguar, for their front brakes, used two compounds from Jurid, 233 and 310. Both are high-friction DOT GG rated and even now there are very few road pads that are grippier, if any. he complete braking system is from ATE except for the front pads, which Jaguar must have selected for a reason as they are not cheap or poorly-rated. I have gone back to these.
Some say they are "dusty" but I don't see a big difference between them and Redstuff but a very noticable difference in bite especially when cold, which is most of the time for me as I don't brake excessively, preferring to drive a little bit more on the smooth side. T
Rear pads are Ferodo, again GG-rated, and slightly better than the original ATE pads on the XKR. This combination seems to be as good as it gets without going to track pads, which probably wouldn't be any good at all for my style of driving.
Delphi seems to be attacking the replacement pad market in Europe at the moment and most of their pads are also GG-rated. I have tried these on a few other cars and they are also pretty good and really good value.
