Thumbs up EBC Rotors & Red Pads

When Brutal was assisting me with my 07 XKR recently, I decided to switch out my rotors and pads to EBC USR slotted rotors and Red Stuff pads. So far (less than 1000 miles) and nothing but good things to report. I have not noticed unpleasant noise, the brakes have good feel and my wheels stay clean.

The rotors are not cheap, fronts were $500 and rear $300 but I got 50K miles out of the stock so I hope not to need rotors again. Pads were less than $200 for the set.

So overall I'm a happy camper.

Just checked and pads were closer to $225

Glad to hear of your positive experience. While I have not used their rotors, I have had positive experiences with their pads as well.

Thanks, I'll have to mention that to my dealer as of about 4wks ago I was told they spoke with the manufacturer and the fronts were not avaiable for the xkr due to lack of demand.

Default EBC red stuff and USR rotor model number request

Hello I have a 2007 XK convertible and im not sure that it uses that same model number as the XKR brakes and rotors. So if there is anyone out there that knows what model number of the EBC USR rotors to get I would appreciate it if you could let me know.

I found these part number for the 2007 XK on the forum but still need numbers for the USR rotors:

DP31911C -Front
DP31749C- Rear

Thanks,
-T
