I like it! Red over black has always been a favorite combination for me.

I use a $25 heads up display that plugs into your OBD2 and side on the left corner of the dash
displays speedo/tach temperature and voltage

In which hose did you connect the sensor?
I've been looking at my xk to put one like yours but I don't know where to install the sensor.

It connects to the OBD port, so very easy install.

What is the ideal temperature of continuous work that it has to give us with a connected obd2?

Thank you.
This week they will bring me an obd2 similar to yours.
From what temperature is it considered excessive?
I think I remember that with a car diagnosis equipment stopped and the engine running, the temperature reached 97 ° C.
I don't know if I have a problem.

No problem, I think if it goes over 100°c when in motion you have a problem.

Temp range in my XKR in Fahrenheit is between 193-210 depending upon traffic and speed.

The temperature range I see on my "07 is 193 -- 199f when in motion, sitting at a signal light it will rise to 204 -- 206f. Last Sunday on the way home from Florida, I got caught in a mile long traffic jam in Baton Rouge, temp got as high as 214f at this point I put the transmission in neutral and raised the RPMs to 2500, this brought it back down to 208f. I never got over temp warnings and as soon as I got moving again, the temp dropped back to 197f.

FIRST AID FOR OVERHEATING
If your car overheats and you're not in a place where you can safely stop and let it cool down, turn your heater on to maximum and run it full blast. Your heater is simply another radiator, albeit smaller, that circulates the engine coolant. Running the heater will help bring down the coolant temperature, assuming that you haven't lost all the coolant and that the water pump still works.

I shouldn't have to say this, but open the windows so you don't get roasted.

That's
