Hi,
I changed the engine oil (5-30) and oil filter (Bosch) on my ’07 XK with 28k mls on it a couple of days ago and noticed today a noise coming from the driver side of the engine.
You can hear it pretty well through the left front wheel.

The noise is hardly noticeable when the engine is cold but I can hear it when it warmed up. I'm not 100% sure but I guess It wasn't there before I changed the oil.
The weird part is, that the noise level goes down when I turn off the air conditioning.
Could it be that I just bent a hose when I removed the Filter and it's now touching the belt or pulley of the compressor?



Any idea?

 

It looks like the sound is comming from the AC Compressor, it's some sort of a chattering, which isn't really loud but you'll notice it.
Is this normal?
What can I do, how do I get this thing out of the car there is not much space around it.
