I'm looking for some technical information on a 4.2L v8 supercharged motor. Specifically, i'm looking for the dimensions of the intake ports, distance between ports and distance between each bank of intake ports. Basically what I need is the engineering information for a 2007 XK 4.2l v8 supercharged engine. Is there anywhere to find this information, short of buying an XK, removing the intake and taking measurements. Thanks to all for any and all help.

 

I didn't see it in either the JTIS or in the shop manual. Usually, that is not needed for repairs and it isn't in the fix-it books.

 

What I'm trying to do is fit a supercharger from a jag 4.2l v8 to another manufacturers 4.2l v8. Before I purchase the supercharger i would like to know the dimensions for the intake ports etc, so we can create an intake to fit. I've checked with my local area dealer, and their service info as you stated is only for repair information. I haven't contacted Eaton as of yet, i believe they supply the chargers.
