Default all of this info, but not what I need.

Guys, I just need the part number for the ECT sensor, PLEASE. This thread is turning into a water pump thread, and there's several on that subject. I have a faulty ECT sensor, and I just need to replace it.

Were you aware you can download the JEPC and look up part numbers?

The coolant temperature sensor for the 5.0 litre SC engine is JDE1634.

It is item 29 in the illustration below.

Well evidently there is an upgrade as well to the ect sensors. Have it at Jag in Denver right now, I'm told there's new pipes to go with the cooling sensors. Dealer wants 1000$ to do it. I'm just gonna do it when I get back to iowa. I haven't had any faults for a month now.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but, I'm having the exact same issue however I changed the coolant pipe and sensor
but the problem still returned.

did you ever resolve this?
