Ethanol blended petrol and the xkr ques
My rule is that if there is ethanol the gasoline needs a higher octane. Why? Because with ethanol, the refiners lower the octane of the mating gasoline. If it sits, the two separate with the E on top and lower octane on bottom. That gasoline becomes the first burn, until you shake up the tank... So make that separated gasoline, as close to 91 as possible.
