Default Is it ever to cold for the top

Is there anything in the convertible top circuit that would not allow the top to be retracted because it is to cold. Something similar to the defroster circuits where if it is a certain temperature they come on automatically when you start the car. Is there any temp. regulated circuit that doesn't allow the top to open. I will usually open at 40* but haven't tried it below that so I was just wondering if it would open (not that I would do it).

I doubt it, otherwise the manual would say that, rather than saying you shouldn't operate it below a certain temp (don't have the manual handy to reference the value), as it's not good for the fabric and seals.
