Default exhaust noise with x pipe

In a few threads people have asked what the sound is like with the x-pipe (and resonators removed). It is pretty much the same as the XKR-S/XFR-S. I've never tried to record mine, but here is a nice little clip of the XFR-S, which is identical, I think. I don't endorse the driving, but the sound is great

This is mine (2008 4.2 XKR), totally standard:

This is it with just the X-pipe and resonator delete. About 20 - 25% louder and a touch deeper, more throaty sound:

And this is with the Elite RR back box, in addition to the X-pipe. Significantly deeper sound and significantly louder again:

Yeah, great sound, but, questionable and un-safe driving, BruceThe Quail.

Agreed. I found the clip on youtube and was surprised that noone had commented on the driving. And that Jag had supplied the car in the first place.

The wide angle camera makes it look a lot faster than it is.

Not sure what country that is in, so beyond that, can't really comment on the driving.

Yeah though he is going pretty quick, he loses the tail every time he accelerates then has to correct. Tough my XKR does that, and I barely exceed the limit ever these days. Lovely colour for the car. And lovely sound.

Stage 3 spires is really good too.. Much louder then even a XKR-S with pops and snaps like a F-Type (not AS MUCH as a F-type but quite often!)

Pagani Zonda 760 Nonno - The Ultimate Ride - YouTube
Had the pleasure of seeing, hearing and driving with the Zonda recently and i would say it's the loudest car i ever heard, it was a amazing piece of engineering to see in the flesh, the porsche GT wasn't bad either, of course my wife had to get in on every photo opportunity.
I have the Elite RR system and it is a brilliant sound IMO, here's a small clip,

I drove my XJ-S V12 to Italy in the late 80s - yeah, fun experience, everyone wanted a race (they lost). But taking a wide Jag around the narrow roads of the Costa Amalfitana was a bit "Eeeek!" at times.

Fricken High-Flow 200 Cells cats, 3" stainless x-pipe. See clip below for a sample of sound with a high-flow resonator design.
