Not a direct answer to your question, but bear in mind that seats may have different features (heating, cooling, 100-ways of adjustments etc). It may not be a swap of a seat itself only, but also other electronics (incl. coding in SDD).

Ps. Even if mounting holes does not fit 1:1 for sure you can do some changes in them... But look above

Hello Threadlock

F type seats do not have tilt function for rear passengers to enter / exit

I’m gathering you want to put the performance seats in your xkr

xkrs seats in
2010 and upwards should be a straight bolt in plug and play / recalibration in SDD

2007-2009 (4.2) - wiring harness requires modification and seat modules from 4.2 into 5.0 seats would need to be swapped - Cambo is currently working on a harness adaption plug for me at the moment to make it all work

At time of purchasing my seats Cotswold automotive also had a xkr-s black/red stitch also available

Mine, not ventilated though, so ideal for cooler climates

Steve,

Have you had a chance to weigh the original 16-way seats?

The performance seats are still at cambo whilst he's preparing the harness extensions so yet to weigh however they do feel like they are 10-15lbs heavier then the standard 47lbs xk seats bare with me I'll definitely weigh them and get a exactly figure when I go over next to see him next (I also have a larger rear boot lid spoiler there as well 😁&#128513

Weighed up the 16-way passenger seat and it came in at 78 pounds which seems more like what I recall from 6 years ago when I had them out. Definitely heavy to carry compared to a 50 pound tyre/wheel.

CORRECTION - I’ve was a few pounds off the mark the xk seat actually weighs in at 60LBS (not 47lb as previously mention)

Nevertheless it’s a decent little saving of 36lb or so over the xkr seats

Steve, Can you confirm the seat mounting points for the X152 and X150 are the same?

You'll need to swap around the mounting brackets so hold onto the ones from your xkr

Right, so they're not the same then? Asking because I was going to post up in the F-Type forum regarding seat bases for race seats. So if the X152 mounts aren't the same as the X150, there wouldn't be any point then...

The rails are the same it's just the mounts that would need to swapped over which are two torx bolts per corner

So they would work one would just to retain their own mounts that are specific to x152 and x150
