Footrest pedal to match existing Jaguar pedals

Aluminium paddle shifters from an F-Type, sourced on E-Bay in France for £117, a good deal as they are a straight swap and are unmarked.

Plenty of space to the control stalks and the paddles have a MUCH better feel and a more positive action.

And finally a pair of seat belt pads

Very nice. I particularly like the seatbelt pads. Must get a pair.

The brake and throttle are original Jaguar pedals as fitted to 2008 4.2 XKR.
The footrest was hard to find with a similar look to the other 2 pedals.
Eventually found this one which is a classic Volkswagen Beetle footrest cover and very cheap at £14 for a full set although only the footrest was needed.

That's a bargain, but it's a bit narrow.

If you want a wider footrest with either the //R logo or the Leaper logo, read this thread from 2014:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...covers-130873/

I don't know if they are still available. Here's mine:

Thanks Stuart S
I believe the LHD models have a wider footrest area in the footwell compared to RHD models.
On RHD models our footrest is on the transmission tunnel side and is thinner and tilted more too
You can see this from the floor mat shape.
Otherwise I would have looked at getting a one similar to you have fitted

Hi JonWat
They were purchased from E-Bay, just search Jaguar seat belt pads and you will find many to choose from

Here's mine fitted, along with neck pillows

Amazon Amazon

After 2yrs the driver side has become a little soft, but since I have x 4 fitted I just have to swap over to one of the others, the way I figure I'll be OK for another 6yrs

Just noticed that my convertible doesn't have the plastic adjustable sliders on the belt to hold them in place so I'd have to find another method 🤨
