Default First Day In My 07 XK. Wow!!!

I thought reviews that I read may have been exaggeration about the amount of times people ask about the xk/xkr coupe. It was a tad bit overwhelming today at my barbershop the amount of people that complimented the jag today. I mean people were walking up to it wondering what type of car it was. Someone thought it was a maserati lol. I had to explain that the guy who designed those cars designed the XK. I just hope I don't get a ticket in this beauty she will fly at the mash of the gas. Super stoked to be a owner of such a beast. :icon_edie:

Congrats sir, welcome to the club! Buy stock in gas and tire companies now you'll be going through both...

And as said a million times over - get a good smart charger and make sure that battery is in excellent condition. Other than that... enjoy!

Last thing - this thread is worthless without pics!

Yes the XK is a great car, and I love mine. If you want to stay thrilled with your car, just don't try the XKR, just sayin' ...

Pushing the right pedal causes hemorrhaging of the bank account.

I also heard from two people that they thought it was a Maserati when they first saw it.

I like to think the 'R' stands for 'Rocket', as it'll put a grin on your face, about twice the size of any grin you've ever grinned.

Default Difference between XK and XKR

2007 XK has 300 HP and is equipped with an accelerator pedal. Fun!
2007 XKR has 420 HP and is equipped with an exhilarator pedal. Whoopee!

The road of life is short, so enjoy the ride!

2010 XK has 370 HP. Funner!
2010 XKR has 510 HP and causes loss of driving privileges. Seriously.

Cee Jay,

I think you meant to say 2010 (5.0L) instead of 2000.

No problem, all us humans make misteaks!

Of course I knew it was a typo. You just gave me a perfect opening to throw in a bad joke. Did anyone not get it?

Probably not, but have you got some 'steak sauce', just in case?
