Anyone know which bulb type used (ie. H11, H3, 9006, etc) on the XKR? The manual doesn't list the foglight bulb. Thanks.

 

Is this an 07/08 xk? Earlier?

 

I know the pre 07 is H1 bulb...I'm looking for the'07-'08 bulb type for the XKR.

Does the XK uses different foglight bulb (H11?) than the XKR? Iwas ableto get to the foglight bulb today on my XKR and found there are H3. Gotta return my H11 for H3 bulbs now.[sm=chairshot.gif]

BTW...does anyone know what that oval sensor next to the foglight on the driver's side? Just curious what that is.

 

The oval sensor is probably the tire pressure monitor initiator.

haha...don't worry about it FJT. I was able to call the company and they said they will exchange for free. I have to send it to them in California this week and hopefully I will get it the following week. I just have to wait 2 weeks which is no biggie. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

 

So you can confirm 100% that the XKR 2007-2009 is running H3 foglights?

 

That's correct...the '07-'09 XKRs are running H3 foglight bulbs. I went with yellow 3000K HID for my foglights. Might switch to 8000k to match my headlgihts.
