So as a lot of you know. My xkr got dropped off on new years eve for a software update and jaguar UK ended corrupting my control module. It sat for weeks. 8 weeks to be exact..

Yesterday my car was completed. With an oil change on the house to boot. Cambo ended up sending me a private message maybe a month ago with some advice that his friend gave him. Jaguar UK ended up giving my dealers mechanic the same advice. Which was to wipe their software receiving program clean. Starting fresh and to keep forcing the download until it stuck and downloaded into the car. During this time my jag/rover/volvo dealership also took the Volvo back and put me in a very nice landrover to hold me over until the car was completed. I also got a call from jaguar hq in jersey asking me to email them evidence of my car payment so they can mail me a check for two months car payments.

So two things I have to say. Good call Cambo and Jaguar as a company is ok in my book. The last question will be how long until that check hits my mail box. Thanks to rest of you guys for your support. I have the silver cat back !!

Amazing what Jaguar did covering two payments there considering those payments aren't "renting" the car! Very nice.
