lol
This is the 3rd article this week. The other two were from Car Publications, regarding BMW owners being the most inconsiderate and such.
Around here, i see more inconsiderate Toyota/VW owners than BMW. BMW owners are good in my book.

Or perhaps no-one at BMW could tell him what the strange stick on the side of the steering column was for and why it made an annoying ticking sound when accidentally moved.

Good post and apt comments from you guys. Jay, I was amazed at how well the car took a battering, ooh try that with a nissan, I am aware they are fragile after a head-on crash in Norway as a passenger in a Primera! Thankfully, the air-bags saved my life and my brother in laws'!
Oh and by the way can the bmw owner claim on his insurance and blame an alter ego for the incident? Stu

They're the ones with blinding headlights because BMW USA delivers them aimed that way and the drivers don't know where the dimmer switch is ... same stalk as the turn signals.Originally Posted by RCG

As an ex BMW owner I have to agree with the thread title that NO we aren't all stupid idiots, in fact we are rather amazing, in a humble way really, truly wonderful in many ways.
Not the least bit arrogant but in a remarkable way almost to low key for our own good. Ah yes, I can almost hear the way people would clap and cheer as I drove by, what a wonderful experience it was for them.
No, stupid idiots we are not.
Now I own a Jag

I am sure there is good bmw owners otherwise they are in the bag of the worst drivers...bmw on the road are troubles all the time and like someone was saying it is obvious they are trying to be a pain each time. i hate these cars real bad, their drivers are the worst on earth and it is surely related to how the car is built. go to hell bmw drivers and please stop tailgating or slowing down when you see a jag....their lack of personality come from the fact they all sucks your rear, real bad. sorry for those who don't.
it seems like when you onw one of this bullshit car you can tailgate or slow down, you own the road then...poor people...

LOL. You guys are hilarious. I'm OK with BMW drivers. I'm still upset at the Mercedes driver in front of me trying to pay at the Starbucks drive through with a $100 bill. Argued with them for 10 minutes (literally) and refused to drive around because she didn't want to get out of her car. She paid, pulled forward, and realized they forgot to give her one of her coffee's. Then she got out of her car! (Still blocking the drive through line, of course.)
(My wife says it was an Audi, but in my mind it was a Mercedes.)

I work for a company that gives me us a discount on new BMWs. I bought a Jag anyway. I have had too many experiences dealing with selfish, dangerous, law breaking BMW drivers that I just refuse to be associated with them. Every day on my way to work I see countless BMW drivers in bumper to bumper traffic on the highway, weaving in and out, crossing double lines, and using every on-ramp as their personal passing lane to get ahead of 6 or 7 cars so they can muscle back in. Somehow a douchebag's time is worth more than everyone else's...

i like a lot your response, there are so much retaliated drivers that it seems that you could heritated of the bmw skill just buying one, one like you will be pissed off,but many likes it a lot, being viewed as dangerous tailgaters and " I own a bmw and can do what ever i want" some mercedes are not that far too...i love jaguars for that.Originally Posted by sharx8
