Hey smokes, congrats on the XK a lot of people will say dont put it on period as id agree with them. The fine is probably little if you actually get stopped for it. If youre a "very late night" driver it is an excuse for them to pull you over though....

If you insist on putting it on Id use double sided tape. We did this on a euro plate on one of our Porsches. It worked great, never moved an inch etc and easy to remove!

I agree! With NOT putting the plate on. I live in Connecticut (front plates mandatory), and my last two cars (BMW 550i and 911 Carrera 2) would have looked horrible with a plate. Let go, Luke, and use the force. NO FRONT PLATES!!

ticket would probably be a 'fix-it' citation............ take picture of car with front plate on it and bring it to court with you.......

double sided tape should last long enough to get a quick pic LOL

And if the constables insist (via citation), sounds like I can resort to double-sided tape. I didn't think that stuff would hold so thank you 'bmw745ion19s' for letting me know.

Smoke

Oh it works trust me, even at repeated levels of autobahn cruising speeds

just make sure if you end up having to use some to use some of the thicker foam variety

glad i could help!
