I’ve got a 2010 XKR which I’ve had since October & front sensors have never worked since I had it.
When checking on OBD there is no codes & checked System for last activated & says never.
Rears work fine but found every now & then there is no sound just visual on screen. About 1 time in every 10 it does this. Any pointers from anyone or I found out a few people have then disconnected coz it annoys them. So was there an easy way to disconnect them as I don’t know if they possibly have had this done.
Checked control unit & all plugged in fine & checked roof switch also & is all connected up there fine.
So any help would be appreciated.

 

This may be a stupid question, but is it Equipped with front sensors? Not all XKs have front ones. Can you see small circles on the front bumper?

 

 

 

Looking at the service manual, it appears that the front bumper sensors are in the same harness as the TPMS antennas, with the connector being on the left hand side, near the left hand TPMS antenna.
If you don't have TPMS warnings, then maybe the individual sensor connectors were not reconnected (the bumper cover removal instructions show the individual sensors being unplugged).
