Default Front suspension strut lower bolt &$#*

I'm replacing the upper control arms in my front suspension. All is /was going well until I couldn't remove the lower bolt on the damper. It loosened OK but I suspect the bolt is rusted to the metal sleeve inside the bushing. Rather than coming out, the square nut on the end of the bolt broke free of the welds. So now the bolt and I suspect the sleeve freely spin and the bolt won't come out regardless of the sledge hammer force applied to the end of it.

Any suggestions before I break out the grinder?

Default Suspension parts

A borrowed ball joint tool pushed the bolt out quickly.
Not sure if anyone is interested, but I replaced most of my suspension parts the last two days. The old ones show no ball joint wear but only all the defective factory seals are desitergrated, as they all do. Rubber bushings look pretty good. If someone wants to go through the effort of cleaning these up and replacing the dust seals they should save some money and some good parts. 55,000 miles 2009 XKR.

Includes 4 upper control arms, 2 rear lower control arms, 2 rear toe rods, 2 rear sway bar links, 2 front tie-rod ends.
