Default Front valance/Spoiler protection 2011 XKR

I just picked up my car from the paint shop on Wednesday after they repaired my front valance/spoiler. Today, as I was leaving AAA, the drive way was steeper than I expected and I scraped the paint off the spoiler. I do not care about the money aspect as much as having the headache of having to repaint and the look of the valance until it is done .

I try to be so careful, but obviously not careful enough since I once again have a scraped front valance. I was thinking of placing some type of tape or other material over the spoiler that would look awesome but that I could replace when I do scrape. Do any of you have some type of protection? Thanks for any advice as this is the only are of frustration with otherwise amazing car!

I put cf wrap over mine. Looks good and protects it. There is a pic in the picture thread, last or second last page.

Default My solution ...

How you repair it I'll leave to others, but to prevent it from happening again, I'm always very careful to turn in and out of driveways at a 45 degree angle. By having one front tire at a time dip down doesn't lower the front end nearly as much overall as having both tires at the same time encounter the dip.

I mount my license plate on brackets coming up from underneath. Any (rare) scrapes hit the plate assembly, not the car.

I back into parking spots.

I rely heavily on my front proximity sensors.
