I ended up peeling off the double sided sticky backing and trying different glues and got it stuck on with superglue of some kind. I didnt want anything that would look terrible if the badge fell off. It did come off once but I managed to get it back on. But really I think it needs something that a trim shop might have so if it gives me trouble again, I'll pop it into one and save myself the frustration.
My shop put an epoxy backing filling 3 grill slots. Sufficient for the 3M adhesive to do its job.

Hey Powerhouse. Thanks for the tips fitting the front XKR grille-badge using the glue you suggested. A bit of wd-40 and the wife's tweezers (sshhh!) finished the job nicely. Slightly more to the 'right' than yours, but 10(ish) grille-holes from the centre badge! Happy bunny this end!

Thanks!

Might put a leaper on the boot... but that's about as far as I go! Red calipers would be nice (but I'm never satisfied!)

I have a leaper badge for my spoiler to, did slightly press on to get effect, but took off again, hard to know to leave or not. As for yur brake calipers, red wud look good. Mine were black and the R decal was faded away. Took me a day to do, easy. Do one at a time, wheel off, give caliper good clean with brake cleaner, get what ever color brake caliper paint u want, I painted mine on with a small brush, my paint was ferrari red, mirror finish,,dries in 15 minutes, 3 coats, nice a shiney. You can buy replacement R badges, but these are printed on to brake pad removal plates which are expensive. If u look at yurs you'll notice the places. I sanded off the remaining R left on mine before painting. The R badge as u have oo the grill, like mine is ideal size for calipers. Brought my badge to decal shop and they printed 4 exact copies of the badge, size and color on heat resistant non fade vynil. When caliper is finished painted and done place stick decal oo plates as was before. Wheel on and done.
