Default Full Dip Senta wheels

Taken the studs out which was very easy, was afraid the heads could break off cause they've been in there for 13 years.
Took it in to the house to warm up, tomorrow will heat the garage an hour before I start.
Only bought one can Antricit grey metallic and one can of glosifier for testing if I like it!:-)
Any tips and tricks are welcome!:-)

Drop them off and two days later they have been blaster prepped and coated without ever getting dirty.

Spend the money and have them powder coated, 500-600 bucks and they will be perfect and much more durable.

I recommend painting (includes Plasti-Dip, powder coat, etc.) the inner barrel black. The contrast makes the front surface really stand out and hides the brake dust. That's how I had my Selena wheels refurbished. I also ceramic coated them to make them easier to clean, and that seems to work well .

If you like the look when you are finished and want to make it permanent, spray 2K clear over it.

I plasti dipped mine 15 months ago, they still look great... Do a coat on the backside first before doing frontside... I did mine laying flat on the ground with room to walk all the way around them so each coat was from a different angle.... There are plenty of videos on plastidip.com.... the most important thing is to have the wheel as clean as possible...

They look really good, wouldn't believe it's 15 month old rubber paint! :-)

Default That didn't go well!

The metallic grey looked pretty good even though I had some imperfections.

But when the glossifier came on it looked like sh#t. It didn't want to "float out". It looks like it is another colour but it's the lighting above wasn't on in the other picture.

I like the matt colour and will order 4 cans. Will not use glossifier for now. :-)
Think it will look good with the shiny studs.

BTW, it was easy peeling it off! :-D

Maybe the glossifier is affected by temperature. Sweden is pretty cold now. Texas rarely gets that cold.

Thanks, they look great. I didn't think 19's would fit over the brakes. Every day's a school day...

Wheels are done and look great!
Now I want to paint the silver "gils" but can't get the repeater glas of? It says in the workshop manual to push them off but I'm
afraid I'll break something as I don't dare to push harder then I've done!? Any tips or tricks to it?

They are removable but prone to breaking, I broke a clip on one of mine on my old 4.2 whilst changing the bulbs. I would just mask it with paper masking tape, or just pull the plastidip off the repeaters once you're done.
