Naw, it's not lifting, it gets physically eaten by solvents. First I saw was when I dripped some PVC primer, the purple stuff, on it. I grabbed a towel to wipe it up and the top layer lifted up in a pile of goo and it stained the rest that wonderful purple color. I cursed myself a bit, then decided to try some brake cleaner on a less-obvious location.... Yep, I sprayed a small bit then wiped...... wiped up the top layer of clearcoat in another pile of goo. It is still white in that spot, but it isn't as shiny since the clear is gone from there. Hey, maybe it is JUST the clear that comes up. Or not, since the purple stain did lift the clear but also stained the white. Evidently it bonded with it.
Regardless, PA gets eaten so I don't recommend it.
