Default MaxJax

Hi all,
Throwing this out to our community.....
Anyone here a MaxJax owner. For those not familiar, It's a portable two post lift. Can be stored when not in use. It's ideal for those of us with limited height garages. I'm in the planning stages of getting one. http://www.maxjaxusa.com/
Happy Trails.....

let us know how it works out for you. Local government here won't allow a lift in a residential garage but I could hide that one.

Yes, will do. I'm at a point in my garage expansion, the floor will be poured shortly. I preparing the areas of the floor, wherein, I'll be placing the columns with excavating a little deeper (6") for a thicker pour. It's suggested to have at, 5.5" of depth.
BTW, I'm thinking you would have no problem with concealing it. The setup can be stored in a corner.

Yep, just ordered one through my Costco membership for $2220, including delivery. However, these weigh approx. $900, so I'm thinking I'll need to pay an unloading charge. They range a couple hundred dollars more else where.

Thats pretty cool and looks like it will do the trick. I went with a 4 post lift because I needed a 3rd parking space in the garage. It works great but is a PITA when I have to pull wheels but I have a jack tray for that. Good luck.
Here's mine.

Hey Guys,
I forgot about this alternative. While bit bulkier, it covers the entire cab. I have one for my XJR. It works very nicely. It is a bit of a problem during windy times as it's very light. But still, is worth the effort. Another benefit, if one of your drivers is outside when an ice storm hits, removing it breaks up the ice easily. I have one for my Venza, as well.

I have owned a MaxJax for almost 4 years now. I am a happy customer. I have a 7.5 foot ceiling in my garage, so this was perfect. I always say this is the best tool I ever purchased.

I did have to exchange several of the quick-connects which were defective when the unit was originally shipped. Also the hydraulic cylinders weeped a bit when the unit was new, but the seals have long since broken in it is not a problem any longer.

Since you are not very far from me, you are welcome to come by and see it some time if you want.

Thanks WhiteXKR. Useful to learn. Do you recall the day of delivery and how the shipper dropped it off? Did they have a lift gate and hydraulic jack etc?
Happy Motoring....

I drove to the truck depot (I cannot recall the shipper) in Manassas and had them load it onto a pickup truck I had borrowed, then drove it home. I managed to unload it myself by unstrapping the components while still on the truck, but it was a good workout.
