Default MaxJax

Hey Mates,
Anyone in the crowd have a MaxJax in their garage/man cave?
I have one I'm going to be installing and am wondering what dimensions you're running between the posts.
Happy trails....

I have had mine about 4 years now Ken. I could not be happier with it in my 7 ft ceiling garage.

I have 106" between the posts (at the top of the frame) and it has handled a variety of vehicles.

I had to go 4 post so I'd have an extra parking place.

Well, that's encouraging, my ceiling is 8ft. But, the 106" seems very close for getting out of the vehicle?
However, the truth of the matter, my XK-R is in the paint shop having her makeup touched up. So, I'm using my Toyota Venza as a buck. But, I am going to wait until I get the XK-R back before I "nail her down".

Thanks for the reply...

It was a compromise. I would have gone a bit wider, but the one car garage is narrow and I wanted to be able to pass by the outside of posts with the car in the air.

When I an not on the lift, I hang a foam pad on the frame of the lift so I cannot accidentally damage the car doors.

I do remember agonizing for a while over the right spacing also.

Well jagtoes, that's a nice enviable position to have in your pocket.
I'm struggling with a 95" ceiling height. I have friends with your setup. Nice!
