Default Genuine oil filter pictures

I just purchased a few "genuine" LR011279 oil filters, and I suspect they may not be authentic.

Came in a basic white box with JLR sticker. There's a thick band of amber adhesive along the parting seam for the filter material, and the top has basic white text with a part number, manufacture date, and "made in China". There's also a lack of red banding on the outside circumference of the filter, but I do see a very faint red ring on the INSIDE of the filter. Nothing like photos others have posted.

If this IS authentic, it's alarmingly easy to counterfeit. I would expect a stamp, emboss, UDI/QR Code, or similar marking.

Can anyone provide pictures of a true JLR oil filter?

It would also be helpful to post pictures of genuine Beck Arnley, Mahle, Mann, etc so that others don't get potentially scammed...

I recently replaced my oil filter with one I purchased from the dealer and I remember the amber vertical line. Can't comment on anything else. You could go to the dealer and compare them to one at the dealership.

My last 3 Jags have all used this same oil filter and I have replaced it at least 10 or 12 times over the years.
I just buy whichever quality brand I can find going cheapest on Fleabay or at Rock Auto or Rimmer Bros or Britcar, and over the years I have used OEM, Mahle, Mann, Wix and AC Delco to name a few. They are always "Made in China" and they always look pretty much identical, other than for that orange strip which some have and some don't, for example I have a new AC Delco on the shelf and it doesn't have the strip.
There are plenty of really cheap ones from China on Fleabay but I steer clear of them and only ever buy a known quality brand per above.

The orange strip is the color of the glue they use to put the pleated filter media together. Some use clear glue and some use this orange color stuff.

So, if any of you received the filter shown, would you be confident it was authentic? Or, perhaps more importantly, would you be comfortable installing it?

I would NOT have any issues using the filter in question...

The Jaguar filter has top notes of bergamont and tonka beans, it should only be purchased from reputable sources to ensure freshness.
